Estella Parkman Jefferson, 86, entered into eternal rest on Thursday (Dec. 21, 2017) surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Jefferson was born Jan. 3, 1931, in Silver Creek, Miss., a daughter of the late Rev. Longino and Myrdis Tyrone Parkman.
In 1948 she relocated to the Shenango Valley and married the late Willie C. Jeffferson.
She was a devoted member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church where she served as a deaconess, mother of the church and chairman of the kitchen committee.
She was a loving homemaker, mother, sister and friend who will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving children, Myrtle (Randy) Jones, of Hermitage, Shirley Jefferson, Robin Jefferson-Boggs (Melvin), of Masury, Claudette (Keith) Askerneese, of Calif., Kimberly Pettross, of Maryland, James (Bettie) Jefferson, of Farrell; and Rev. Willie (Donna) Jefferson of West Middlesex; her sisters, Lynell Evans, of Farrell, Eloise Bennett, Jewely (Walter) Barnes, and Carolyn Wager-Felix, all of Massachusetts; five sisters-in-law; her son-in-law, Don; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; three godchildren; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; her brothers, Clyde and Claude Parkman; and her sisters, Louella Blackwell and Ardella Starks.

Visitation: 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday (12-30-17) at the Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, Brookfield.
Service: 10 a.m. Saturday at the church with Rev. Raymond O. Brown officiating.
Interment: Brookfield Cemetery.
