Enoch J. Humes
Teany was born in Mercer on May 9, 1947, to Frank and Velma Davis Humes.
Before going into the Army, Teany attended Mercer High School. He went on to be a heavy-equipment operator in the Army, where he served in the Vietnam War.
He was a skilled truck and farm equipment mechanic. He worked several years at Watson's Inc. in Charleston then retired from M&R Power Equipment in Hermitage.
Teany is survived by two sisters and two brothers: Alice Jean (Brian) Bidlack in Mercer; George (Becky) Humes in Mercer; Walter Earl (Cheryl) Humes in Masury; and Diane Priester in Junction City, Kans. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews: Patty Byler, Karla Schaa, Troy Bidlack, Tom Bidlack, Rene' Burroughs, James Humes, LeAnn Humes, Emilie Humes, Jennifer Hilles, Chris Humes, Dennis Priester, Linda Westfall, Shaun Dawson, and Daniel Eddinger.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, William Humes.

Calling hours: 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday (3-14-19) in CUNNINGHAM FUNERAL HOME, INC., 144 S. Pitt St., Mercer.
Funeral service: 11 a.m. Friday (3-15-19) in the funeral home with Dr. William P. Crooks officiating.
Burial: Mt. Washington Cemetery, Jefferson Township.
