Edward Lee Sines, 76, of 1025 S. Lake Road, Jefferson Township, Mercer, passed away at 3:25 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9, 2018, at Grove City Medical Center, Pine Township, after an extended illness.
Ed was born on June 15, 1941, in Sharon, to Charles and Anne Bennington Sines.
He married Sherry D. Taylor Sines on June 10, 1971. She died on April 6, 2014.
Ed owned and operated Ed's Locksmithing in Mercer.
He was a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church; the F and AM Hebron Lodge 575 in Mercer, where he was a master; and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Mr. Sines is survived by one daughter, Michelle Sines, of Evansville, Ind.; and one son, Greg Sines, at the residence; three sisters, Greta, wife of William Kautz, in Mercer; Carol, wife of Larry Smith, in Sharon; Patty Cousins, in Mercer; one brother, David Sines, in Calif.; and his mother in law, Esther Taylor, in Mercer.
Ed is preceded in death by his parents, wife and one brother, Donald Sines.

Masonic service: 11 a.m. with visitation following immediately until time of service Tuesday (2-13-18) at CUNNINGHAM FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 144 S. Pitt St., Mercer.
Funeral service: 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Susan Allen, CLP, officiating.
Burial: Findley Cemetery, Findley Township, with military honors.
