Dorothy M. Hull, 84, of Greenville, formerly of Hermitage, passed away Tuesday evening, Nov. 28, 2017, St. Paul's CCRC, Greenville, after a brief illness.
Dorothy was born on Jan. 19, 1933, in Guilderland, N.Y., the daughter of the late James and Jessie (Downs) Wilcox.
She enjoyed playing cards, doing cross stitch and traveling. Dorothy grew up spending summers in Arlington, Vt., living next door to Norman Rockwell and his family, whom she enjoyed spending time with. She was a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers Auxiliary.
Dorothy married Theodore R. Hull on June 29, 1952. He died on Nov. 6, 2013.
She is survived by her two daughters, Melinda Hull of Tokyo, Japan, and Cynthia Riggs of Columbus, Ohio; her son, Jeffrey Hull and his wife, Jessie, of Jamestown; her grandchildren, Bradley Schroeder and his wife, Jamie, Bryan Schroeder, Caitlin Hull, Courtney Hull; and two great-grandchildren, Lenox and Amara Schroeder.
Beside her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Christopher Hull.
