Dorothy M. Bair

Dorothy M. Bair, of Grove City, formerly of Valley Street and Lee Lane, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 10, 2019, in Grove Manor, Grove City. She was 91.
Dorothy was born in Keil Run, Indiana County, to Elzie Clark and Grace Stella (Brady) Woodside on Aug. 24, 1927.
She married Raymond L. Bair Sr. on July 3, 1946. He preceded her in death on April 20, 1993.
She was a homemaker and retired from United Community Hospital in 1989, where she was in the Environmental Services Department. Formerly she worked at Bashline Memorial Hospital and Grove City College.
Two children, Joyce Ann Anama and husband Dave, Pittsburgh, and Gary Bair, Stanardsville, Va.; 13 grandchildren; many great- and great-great- grandchildren; and a sister, Naomi Pierce, Westover, survive Dorothy.
In addition to her parents and husband, three sons, Roger, Robert and Raymond Bair Jr.; and two grandchildren, Marsha and Robert Bair preceded Dorothy in death.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Grove Manor Nursing Home, payable to The Christian Loving Fund, P.O. Box 1055, Franklin, PA 16323.

I worked with Dorthy at Grove city hospital from 1983 to 1996, at one time I was her boss in Enviromental Services dept. we all had a good time, I remember when her husband passed also,Dorthy put me in mind of my aunt, she looked and acted just like her. was a pleasurer to have known her. The family has our deepest sympathy.
