Donald I. Peffer of Pine Township, Grove City, formerly of Prospect, passed away on Monday morning, Dec. 11, 2017, in Butler Memorial Hospital following a 2.5-year illness. He was 65.
Don was born in Butler on Nov. 4, 1952, to Donald E. and B. Virginia (Dent) Peffer. He married Connie L. Martin on March 1, 1992.
Don was a graduate of Slippery Rock High School, Class of 1971. He served in the U.S. Army.
He was employed by Ronald Gross Inc, Cabot, where he was a safety coordinator and truck driver for the past 27 years.
Don was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. He enjoyed his family, friends, playing cards and especially liked taking care of his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Connie, at home, four children, Jason Peffer and wife, Emily, of Portersville, Brian Harris and wife, Tracey, of Utica, Jenifer Corbett and husband, Jeff, of Cooperstown and Rhonda Criss and husband, James, of Grove City, 10 grandchildren, Mathew Corbett, Kristi Stemmerich, Zachary Harris and companion Lacy Custer, Tasha Manross and husband Dakota, Kelsey Harris, Brandon Reynolds, Sydney Reynolds, Isaac Criss, Riley Criss and Rayliegh Peffer; five great-grandchildren; and a brother, Neil Peffer and wife, Cecilia, of Tarpon Springs, Fla.
His parents and a brother, Richard Peffer, preceded Don in death.

Burial:Crestview Memorial Park Inc., with military honors.
