Dennis E. Campbell

Dennis E. "Denny" Campbell, Perry Township, Clarks Mills, passed away early Thursday morning, July 11, 2019, at his residence, surrounded by his family. He was 67.
Denny was born in Greenville on June 28, 1952, the son of Gerald "Rip" and D. Jean (Walker) Campbell.
He was a 1971 graduate of the Greenville High School and went on to serve with the U.S. Army stationed in West Germany as a Special Police during the Vietnam War.
On Jan. 10, 1974 he married the former Elizabeth M. Cresswell in Bamberg, West Germany.

He was an avid follower of the Philadelphia Phillies and the Cleveland Browns. He took great pride in the 1969 Ford Mustang that he had rebuilt. He enjoyed duck hunting.
Denny had a love of life and a love for his family and many friends. He was an inspiration to all who knew him both before and following his accident.
He attended the Clarks Mills United Methodist Church.
Denny always wanted those who worked for him to enjoy the job that they were doing and strived to always make the work environment not only enjoyable but to also be a fun time. He is remembered by his family for his strong will and desire to live.
In addition to his wife Bess, he is survived by a son, Ryan Campbell, Clarks Mills; three daughters, Brina Wagler and her husband Chance, Stoneboro, Casee Blackmer and her husband Paul, North East ,and Cara Black and her husband Raymond, Elmira, Mich.; his parents, Gerald 'Rip" and Jean Campbell, Greenville; two sisters, Lori Peterson and her husband Brian, Greenville, and Linnea Blake and her husband Mike, Butler, Ohio; a brother-in-law, Don Creswell and his wife Shirley of Hadley; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
