David's Story

David Richard Richardson, 64, of West Middlesex, died Sunday afternoon at UPMC Horizon Hospital.
He was born Dec. 2, 1953, in Sharon, to the late Robert and Helen Erb Richardson.
He graduated in 1973 from West Middlesex High School and served his country in both the active Army and National Guard. He worked as a dialysis aide for the Physicians Dialysis Center and at Circle K in West Middlesex.
Dave was a volunteer fireman and fire policeman for Shenango Township and was a poll worker for the borough during elections. He also enjoyed photography and bowling.
Survivors include three sons: David, of Connecticut, and Ethan and Jacob Richardson, both of Reynolds; a step-daughter, Mary Johnson; siblings, Connie (Terry) Gerba, of Ohio, Daniel (Desiree) Richardson of West Middlesex, Lou Ann (Steve) Ryan of Minnesota, Patty Jo Hodge of West Middlesex, Rusty (Barbara) Richardson of Georgia, Rebecca (Tracy) Taylor of South Carolina, Robert (Jennifer) Richardson, of Illinois, and Chris (Sara) Richardson of Arizona.

Service: Funeral at 11 a.m. Friday (2-23-18) at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gary Winemiller of the Wesley Methodist Church officiating.
Interment: Haywood Cemetery, West Middlesex.
