David  Ferencik
David Ferencik, 67, Sharon, passed away unexpectedly Sunday (Oct. 6, 2019) in Sharon Regional Medical Center.
Born Feb. 1, 1952, in Sharon, he was the son of Michael and Velma (DeLong) Ferencik.
He married the former Lisa Ginther on Sept. 30, 1972, and she survives at home.
David attended Sharon High School and then went to work for Wheatland Tube, where he worked for 40-plus years before retiring.
In his spare time, David liked bowling, spending time with his grandkids, playing bingo and watching all types of sports.
In addition to his wife he is survived by: a daughter, Nawny McGranahan and her husband Dave, Sharon; a son, Ben Ferencik and his wife Missy, Masury; two grandchildren, Justin McGranahan, Pittsburgh, and Kelsie (Noah) McGranahan, Sharon; five brothers, John (Charlene) Ferencik, Canton, Ohio, Mike (Sandy) Ferencik, Sharpsville, Joe (Hope Ann) Ferencik, Transfer, Gary (Jerry) Ferencik, Sharpsville, and Jack (Susan) Van Ord, Florida; four sisters, Maryanne Black, Masury, Barbara (Ron) Wheeler, Wheatland, Pat (Walt) Edgell, Canton, and Bonnie Clark, Michigan; a brother-in-law, James (Patti) Ginther, West Middlesex; and 22 nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by: a niece, Shannon Montgomery; a nephew, Christopher Ferencik; and his mother- and father-in-law, George and Catherine Ginther.
Memorial contributions can be made to the charity of one's choice.

Service: 7 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with the Rev. Doug Dyson officiating.

I am so very very sorry for your loss! Dave was a great guy in so many ways! I have memories of seeing you two pretty much always with each other, at home, him working outside and you checking up on him! Lol. He was always so good to my Mom and Dad! I’ll never forget that! Words seem of little consolation at a time like this but I will keep all of you in my prayers! God bless you all!!
