DaShawn "Dunt" Duane Scott, 25, died Wednesday (Jan. 17, 2018) in Clarksburg, W.Va.
Scott was born on July 5, 1992, in Sharon, to Anthony Duane and Monica Linette Miller Scott.
Scott graduated from Farrell High School and attended Slippery Rock University.
He was a member of Greater Morris Chapel A.M.E. Church, was an inspiring rapper of the group YNS Blow Money and was formerly employed at Penn-Ohio Roofing and Siding.
He is survived by: his parents in Farrell; a daughter, Harlem Scott, of Sharon; a sister, Johntae Scott, of Farrell; his brothers, Anthony Jr., of Farrell, and Camron of Columbus, Ohio; his grandfathers, Donald Miller of Hermitage and Streator Scott of Farrell; his godmother, Laurena Adams of Columbus; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
Preceding him in death are grandmothers Johnnetta A. Miller and Pamela R. Scott, both in 2017.

Visitation: The family will receive visitors during the hours of 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. at 1116 Washington St., Farrell.
Calling hours: 10 to 10:45 a.m. Friday (1-26-18) at Valley Baptist Church, 500 Sharon-New Castle Road, Farrell.
Service: 11 a.m. Friday (1-26-18) in the church with Rev. Tiffany Holden, pastor of Redeemed Sanctuary, Sharon, as eulogist and Rev. T. James Harrison, pastor of Valley Baptist, as officiant.
Burial: Morefield Cemetery
