Collin Joseph Ridley, 41, of Slippery Rock, passed away on Monday, Sept. 25, 2017, following a long illness.
He was born in Grove City on June 16, 1976, to Joseph Wallas Ridley and Patricia Susan Fox Ridley.
As a young boy, Collin enjoyed building model airplanes and being active in scouting. He has had rheumatoid arthritis since the age of 11.
In 1994 Collin graduated from Slippery Rock High School then attended Butler County Community College and Slippery Rock University. He really enjoyed working at Instron Corp. in Grove City.
He loved to read and had an interest in the history of Christianity. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was always available to help others even if he was having a bad day.
He attended Zion Baptist Church and later Harmony Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Harrisville. He was a believer in Jesus Christ as his personal savior.
Survivors include his parents, at home; sister, Erin R. Plakidas of Slippery Rock; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Service: 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home with Rev. Jeff Jones, pastor of the Harrisville Evangelical Presbyterian Church presiding.
Interment: Harmony Cemetery, Harrisville.
