Charlotte Ann Crawford

Events

Charlotte Ann Murrin Crawford, of Watkinsville, Ga., passed from this life into the waiting arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on July 26, 2019. She was an active member of Union Christian Church in Watkinsville.
Charlotte was born in Greenville, Pa., to James and Becky Murrin.
She was a 1961 graduate of Reynolds High School. She married and had two daughters and earned her real estate license and optician's license. She enjoyed working as an optician for many years prior to retiring in 2014.
Charlotte loved people and was very involved with her church family and volunteering. She was also fond of reading, jigsaw puzzles, music, and gardening. Her favorite flower was the gardenia. Charlotte adored her grandchildren, who were perfect in her eyes.
The greatest joy of Charlotte's life was having the opportunity to spend 25 years with the love of her life, William Crawford, who passed away in October 2018. They built their dream house together, and truly lived their love story every day.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Jim Murrin, and her beloved husband, William.
She is survived by four brothers, Ray, Bill, Chuck, and Todd Murrin; two daughters, Julie (Charlie) Booth and Jennifer (Thomas) Hurst; and seven grandchildren.
Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to Union Christian Church, 1130 Union Church Road, Watkinsville, GA 30677.
