Carolyn L. Falvo, 70, of Hermitage, passed away in her home on Tuesday, (Jan. 9, 2018) after an extended illness.
Carolyn was born in Sharon on March 27, 1947, the daughter of the late Walter S. McNutt Sr. and Betty J. (Hassell) McNutt.
She graduated from West Middlesex High School in 1965.
Carolyn was a member of Greater New and Living Way Temple of the Apostolic Faith.
She had worked as a salesperson at Walmart Hermitage. Previous to that she had worked at the former Stambaugh's and Thrift Drug Store.
She enjoyed cooking and making crafts. She liked to volunteer helping in the food pantry for the church and for the seniors of the church.
Her family includes: her daughter, Minister Michelle Falvo of Hermitage; a sister, Connie L. Taub of Stafford, Va., four brothers, Walter S. McNutt Jr. of West Middlesex, David A. McNutt of Marionville, Pa.,, Clayton C. McNutt of Columbus, Ohio, and Timothy K. McNutt and his wife Eman of West Palm Beach, Fla.; and nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Sharon Regional Medical Center Hospice and Palliative Care for their excellent care and compassion given to Carolyn during her illness.
