Bryan Morris, formally of Hermitage, went peacefully to the Lord Dec. 8, 2017 with his family by his side after suffering a heart attack.
Bryan was born Aug. 22, 1967, the son of the late William Morris and Suzie Tomko Lozier.
Bryan graduated from Hickory High in 1985. He belonged to the Ukrainian Dance Group and performed at the Bavarian Fun Fest. He portrayed Raggedy Andy, along with his mother playing Raggedy Ann; they entertained children at the Fun Fest. He also enjoyed and participated in the Small Ships Review.
Bryan will be remembered by his special smile and laughter and his giving ways. Bryan was always looking for an excuse for a party and he loved to entertain; the bigger the party the better.
He is survived by: his mother; a brother, David and wife Lisa; a stepmother, Marilyn Morris; two step-sisters and several nieces and nephews; and his beloved companion of 13 years, John Weissman. He also will be sadly missed by his constant pal and companion, his dog Merlin.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date next summer.
