Bonnie Renee Doyle, 65, of Grove City, passed away at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2017, in Grove City Medical Center following a short illness.
She was born in Ellwood City on March 31, 1952, to Kenneth Dale Wimer and Beverly Rose Alborn Wimer.
She married William J. Doyle on Feb. 12, 1993.
Bonnie graduated from Grove City High School in 1970 and Slippery Rock University in 1974. She shortly thereafter earned her master's degree in reading from the University of Pittsburgh.
Bonnie's teaching career spanned various grade levels over 30 years. She taught at North Allegheny, Pa.; Baltimore; Houston Texas; White Plains, N.Y.; and she retired from the Slippery Rock Area Schools in 2008.
She enjoyed boating, water skiing, traveling, listening to music, attending concerts and most importantly, spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by: her husband Bill at home; two daughters, Michelle Jordan of Pittsburgh and Nicole Fleming of Grove City; a son, Zachary Doyle of St. Simons Island, Ga.; her mother, Beverly R. Wimer of Grove City; a brother, Derran K. Wimer of Hudson, Ohio; their spouses; six grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father and an infant daughter, Lia Marie Vislay.

Interment: Eastbrook Cemetery, Lawrence County.
