Beverly McCartney Bradley, 84, formerly of Stoneboro and Cochranton, passed away at 11:25 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 5, 2017, in Crawford County Care Center after a lifetime battle with multiple sclerosis.
Born in Royal Oak, Mich., Nov. 6, 1932, she was a daughter of Charles F. and Bernice I. Ladds Guynn.
She was a member of the last graduating class of the former Sandy Lake High School in 1950.
In her early years, Bev worked at Cooper-Bessemer in Grove City then the Isaly's store in Sandy Lake and, along with her husband, owned and operated a dairy farm in Lake Township for many years. Most of all she was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, reading and spending time with her family.
She had been a longtime member of the Clarks Mills United Methodist Church.
She married Gerald E. McCartney Oct. 3, 1953, and he preceded her in death Sept. 30, 1975; she then married Glenn Bradley in 1988. He died in 1991.
Survivors include a daughter, Brenda (Daniel) Kantz, of Cochranton; three sons: Dale B. (Vicky) McCartney of Chardon, Ohio; Jeffrey A. (Lori) McCartney, of Albuquerque, N.M.; and Duane E. (Maria) McCartney, of Cleveland; seven grandchildren: Ryan McCartney; Devin (Melissa) McCartney; Daniel (Heather) Easley; Laurie (Carlos) Rodriguez; Courtney (Hector) Chavez; Dina (Alfonso) Messina; Kyler Kantz; three great-grandchildren; two sisters: Joyce Greenlee, of Franklin; and Nancy (Bruce) Opitz, of Grove City; two brothers: Gerald Guynn, of Gulfport, La.; and Brian Guynn, of Kansas City, Mo.
In addition to her parents and husbands, an infant granddaughter Sarah McCartney preceded her in death.
