It is with great sadness that the family of Bertha Generalovich Hopkins announces her passing on Sunday (Feb. 4, 2018), at the age of 90 in Hendersonville, N.C.
She was born to Tomo and Madeline (Lukovac) Generalovich on Sept. 26, 1927, in Farrell, and in 1954 she married Myron Hopkins. Together they had one son, Steven and resided in Conneaut Lake.
Bertha was employed as a bookkeeper for Kebert's Construction Company before retiring.
During her retirement she kept herself busy with her love of gardening and baking. She spent hours in the kitchen and loved sharing her baked goods with friends and neighbors.
She was fortunate to travel abroad with her brother, Boris, and sister, Nadine, and the love for her family was one of the biggest joys in her life. She so looked forward to and enjoyed going to family reunions, sharing stories and then spending time with her son and daughter-in-law. She was such a kind soul.
She will be lovingly remembered by: her son and daughter-in-law, Steven Hopkins and Debra Morgan of Hendersonville, N.C.; her sister, Nadine Kramerich of Chesterland, Ohio, and many devoted nieces, nephews and extended family.
Bertha was preceded in death by: her brothers, Alexander, Bronko, Milosh and Boris Generalovich; and also by her husband, Myron Hopkins.
Bertha Generalovich, 90, of Hendersonville, N.C., formerly of Conneaut Lake.
