Annie Irene Swartz, 87, died Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2017, at Rolling Fields Elder Care, Conneautville.
She was born Aug. 29, 1930, in Wheatland, the daughter of Nick and Katherine Bottar Vlad.
Mrs. Swartz was a graduate of Farrell High School and of a cosmetology school in Wheatland.
She married Joseph A. Swartz in March 1953. He passed away in 1994.
She was a beautician and worked as a pipe threader at Sawhill in Wheatland.
She was a member of St. Mark's United Church of Christ in New Hamburg.
Mrs. Swartz was a member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary in Transfer, and a 56-year member of the Countryside Garden Club in Transfer.
She enjoyed flower arranging, country music, time spent with family, traveling and time spent working as a carnival operator.
Mrs. Swartz was the last of nine children.
Survivors include three daughters, Pamela Clemente and her husband, Larry, of Clarks Mills, Amy Boyer and her husband, Charles, of Greenville, and Emma Kay Vasson and her husband, Richard, of Hermitage.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters.

Service: The family invites you to celebrate her life during a memorial luncheon at Grace Chapel Community Church, 4075 Lamar Road, Hermitage, 1-3 p.m. Saturday (12-30-17).
