Anna Belle's Story
Anna Belle Daye, 82, passed away at 12:10 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017, at Nugent's continuing care retirement community, Hermitage, after an extended illness.
Anna Belle was born in Hartford, Ohio, on May 20, 1935, to Jesse and Ida Mae Heckathorn Wells.
Anna Belle was a graduate of Hubbard High School. She previously managed Toby's in Mercer.
She was of the Methodist faith.
She is survived by four children: Linda Kellner, with whom she lived in Hermitage before entering the nursing home four months ago; Stella, wife of Stan Bell, in Mercer; Randy Daye and his wife Stacey in Mercer; and Ryan Daye and his companion Karen in Volant; one sister: Stella, wife of John Capestro, in Grants Pass, Ore.; 14 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Anna Belle is preceded in death by her parents; three children: Rick Wells, Rod Daye, Ray Daye; a son-in-law: Rich Kellner Jr.; a grandson: Brad Kellner; a granddaughter: Jessica Daye; and two brothers: Rodney Wells and Raymond Wells.

Services: Private, per Anna Belle's request, at CUNNINGHAM FUNERAL HOME Inc., 144 S. Pitt St., Mercer, with Rev. Tina Keller of Big Bend Church officiating.
Burial: Mt. Washington Cemetery, Jefferson Township.
