Agnes Orsag Marenkovic


Agnes (Orsag) Marenkovic, of Hermitage, passed away peacefully on Thursday (April 11, 2019) in John XXIII Nursing Home. She was 90.
Agnes was born on May 8, 1928, to Elek and Mary (Poszonyi) Orsag in Sharpsville.
She graduated from Sharpsville High School Class of 1946. After graduation, Agnes worked for Westinghouse Electric Inc. from 1946 to 1963 when she retired.
She married George Marenkovic on May 11, 1963. George preceded her in death Nov. 23, 1987.
She was a member of St. Bartholomew R.C. Church where she was active in the Altar and Rosary Society. She was also a member of the Greek Catholic Union Lodge 164 and the Youngstown Jewish Community Center in the aquatic class. She volunteered for years at the Prince of Peace center.
Agnes is survived by: her sister, Hazel (John) Kukuda of Sharpsville, six nieces and nephews, John Kukuda of Valrico, Fla., Daniel (Linda) Kukuda of Leesburg, Ga., Barbara Ann (Joseph) Kubinski of Warren, Ohio, Helen (Ron) Dieszi of Havasu City, Ariz.; 19 grand-nieces and nephews; and 22 great-great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, George; sister, Mary Feedler; niece, Shirley Jane Powell; niece, Mary Ann Dumahl; nephew, John Feedler; and great-niece, Connie Powell.
