BROOKFIELD, Ohio Adah E. McMullin, 95, died peacefully on Oct. 24, 2017, at Liberty Health Care Center.
Adah was born Oct. 9, 1922, in New Castle to Charles and Rebecca Isabella (Stockman)
Harkless. She was a 1940 graduate of Brookfield High School.
Her husband, Benjamin B. McMullin, whom she married Oct. 5, 1944, passed away on Dec. 23, 2007.
Adah was a member of the Brookfield United Methodist Church. She was a charter member of the Women's Youngstown District Golf Association, one of the organizers of the Penn-Ohio Ladies Golf Association, and founder and lifelong member of the Yankee Run Women's Golf League.
Adah will be deeply missed by her sons, Benjamin R. (Janice) McMullin of Hubbard, and Paul G. (Karen) McMullin of Brookfield; six grandchildren, Barb (Tim) Stoner, Doug 9Amie) McMullin, Sloan (Tom) Magliery, Jordan McMullin, Elizabeth McMullin and Taylor McMullin; five great-grandchildren, Andrew and Benjamin Stoner, Logan and Parker Magliery and Nathan McMullin. She will also be
greatly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, Adah was preceded in death by her parents; and her aunt and uncle, Rollie and Pearl Harkless, who adopted and raised her and her brother, Charles (Atha) Harkless.
